I wear jeans almost daily because they’re practical, go with everything and don’t require dry cleaning. I usually rotate between several pairs of vintage Levi’s however, hunting for them has become something I simply don’t have time for anymore (never had luck buying them online) and have longed for a pair I could just buy off the rack. I want something that is a little wider in the leg, high rise, but not too high, not crazy expensive and have zero stretch. I tried lots of brands that I won’t name, but found they either relaxed too much after one wear, simply didn’t fit (meant for someone who has a more boyish frame (ie, slim hips)) or sizing was wildly inconsistent. Raey (Matches Fashion in house brand) has long been a favorite and their jeans were just what I was looking for. They come in several washes (also a win) and the sizing is consistent (I ordered a 26).
Raey jeans in Indigo, vintage Hermes shirt (not the same, but nice too, also this), Khaite boots (similar here and here and here).
Raey jeans in Light Blue, vintage Michael Kors jacket as shirt (similar but different, here and here and here), Chanel ballet flats (but also cute here and here).
These Acne jeans also get an honorable mention. While they are very high waisted, I’m ok with that. Also like the length. Description says boot cut, but it’s very subtle and looks/feels more straight to me.
Acne jeans (black here, Aimé Leon Dore quarter zip in xs (vintage Polo option here or fancy version here), Pearl River mary janes
That’s it for now. More to come.
